A trading house built around execution.

WIDEKHAN connects producers of chemicals and agricultural commodities with the industrial buyers who need them — and takes responsibility for everything in between.

Who We Are

Trade is a promise about the future.

A purchase order is a commitment that a specific material, at a specific quality, will be at a specific place on a specific date. Everything a trading house is worth comes down to whether that holds.

WIDEKHAN operates from Korea across two divisions — Chemicals and Food & Agri — sourcing from qualified producers and supplying manufacturers, processors and distributors in Asia, the Middle East, Europe and the Americas.

We are deliberately not a marketplace. We take title, we carry the execution risk, and we answer for the shipment. That is a narrower business than listing suppliers, and it is the one worth doing.

And because production lines do not wait for vessels, we go one step further than most traders: key repeat products are bought in advance and held in stock — supply that is already on the ground, not on the water.

Our Approach

Four things we do not compromise on.

01

We qualify the supplier, not just the price

Every producer we place an order with has been assessed on plant capability, specification consistency and prior performance. The cheapest offer in a market is usually cheap for a reason, and it rarely stays cheap once a claim is filed.

02

We say no to enquiries we cannot serve

If a specification, a volume or a delivery window is not realistic, we say so at the enquiry stage rather than quoting to win and renegotiating later. Buyers plan production around our answers, so the answers have to be reliable.

03

We treat documents as part of the goods

A correct cargo with an incorrect document set is a detained cargo. Certificates, classification and declarations are prepared to the destination country's requirement, not to a generic template.

04

We stay reachable when things go wrong

Vessels get delayed, plants have outages, quality disputes happen. The measure of a trading partner is the response in that week — so escalation runs to a named person, not a shared mailbox.

Reach

Positioned in Korea, trading across four regions.

Korea sits inside the North Asian petrochemical and manufacturing cluster, with short lead times to Chinese, Japanese and Southeast Asian production and direct liner service to every major market.

ASIA PACIFIC

Core market

Korea, China, Japan, Southeast Asia and India — both as origin for chemical production and as destination for agri-commodities.

MIDDLE EAST

Petrochemical origin

Gulf producers for base chemicals, polymers and fertilisers, plus growing food-ingredient demand across the region.

EUROPE

Specialty sourcing

Specialty chemical and food-additive producers where technical grade and regulatory documentation are the deciding factors.

AMERICAS

Agri origin

North and South American grain, oilseed and feed-ingredient origination for Asian and Middle Eastern buyers.

Compliance

Trading responsibly is not optional.

Chemicals and food-chain goods are among the most heavily regulated cargoes moving internationally. We build compliance into the transaction rather than treating it as paperwork at the end.

Sanctions & export control screening

Counterparties, end users and destinations screened against applicable sanctions and export-control regimes before contracting.

Chemical registration requirements

Support with registration and notification obligations in the destination market, including restricted-substance checks.

Dangerous goods handling

Correct IMDG classification, UN-approved packaging and carrier declarations for every hazardous consignment.

Food safety obligations

Food-contact and ingredient-grade goods handled against the certification and traceability the destination market requires.

Anti-bribery & fair dealing

No facilitation payments, no undisclosed commissions. Where an agent is involved in a trade, the buyer is told.

Contract transparency

Specification, inspection basis, tolerance and claim procedure written into the contract — so a dispute has an agreed resolution path.
